At Merc-Spec, we perform Class 4&7 tests on vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Our experienced MOT testers will carry out your MOT test at our site here in Middlesbrough, and with so many happy customers who come back year after year, you can be sure of excellent service and quality work.

MOT tests can be done up to a month before the expiry date, and the date of the expiry won’t change. If your car passes the test, Merc-Spec will issue your MOT certificate and if unfortunately it doesn’t pass, we’ll advise you on any repairs that are required. We are fully-equipped to carry out the repairs here at our premises in Middlesbrough.

An MOT test usually takes about 45 minutes. We can carry out the test while you wait or, you can leave your vehicle with us on your way to work and pick it up later. We are a very busy garage so we definitely recommend booking your test well in advance to avoid disappointment.
